The headline of my story is “Teen Mom Seeks Home of Her Own After Puppies are Adopted.”
I came to NAHS from a shelter in southern Illinois. I was young, high energy, and keeping a secret… I was pregnant with eight puppies. I delivered my pups right here in the shelter and soon we all went into a foster home where we could have all the peace and quiet we needed. Fast forward two months: my puppies are all adopted into loving homes just before Christmas, and now I’m ready to find my forever family. My foster mom says I’m smart, curious, playful, and very energetic. I like to play fetch, and I seem to like most other dogs, but I can play rough sometimes; I cannot live with cats. I’ve never been around younger children, but I’m good with kids at least 10 years old. My left eye never developed completely, so I do have some sight deficiencies, but that doesn’t stop me in the least. Oh yeah, I’m housebroken… that’s certainly a plus, right?!
Since I’m in a foster home, you’ll need an appointment to meet me. Please call Naperville Area Humane Society at 630-420-8989 to schedule a meet-and-greet. Hope to see you soon!
