landscaping opportunities

Help maintain the grounds of the shelter, both general landscaping like mowing and weed wacking as well as gardening opportunities such as pulling weeds, mulching and planting. Some gardening tools and materials will be provided however we encourage you to bring some with you, as well as gloves.

handicraft opportunities

Whether it's helping build play areas, constructing cabinets, patching a wall or even enhancing a walking path, your handicraft will offer a chance to help fixing items around the shelter that benefit our staff and animals directly.
