Please pay the $25 New Volunteer Enrollment Fee (per person) online. This helps cover the cost of the volunteer t-shirts you will receive.

In the Shelter
The Naperville Area Humane Society offers a variety of in-shelter volunteer opportunities. We are always looking for morning cleaners between the hours of 8:00am-10:00am, but also accept dog and cat socializers, as well as dog walkers, all year round. Volunteers are welcome to serve as often as they’d like! For more specific information or questions about our flexible volunteer schedule, please contact Andrea Cios, Volunteer Program Manager, at (630) 420-8989 x1004 or at email@example.com.
Whether it is a pregnant animal, puppies, kittens, or an adult dog or cat needing a break from shelter life, foster homes are vital to the survival of animals in need. For more information on becoming a foster home, please call or email JoAnn Schaeffer, Training & Foster Coordinator, at (630) 420-8989 x1009 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Humane Education & Birthday Party Coordinators
We are currently looking for volunteers to help teach children about the responsibility of caring for animals by helping with the Naperville Area Humane Society’s summer camp, after school programs, shelter tours, and classroom presentations. Click here to read the description for Volunteer Humane Educator.
We are also looking for birthday party coordinators to help kids celebrate their birthdays at the Naperville Area Humane Society. Run the event the day-of, and help make memories to last a lifetime!
If you are interested or have questions, please contact Lauren Lonski, Humane Education Manager, at email@example.com or (630) 420-8989 x1006.
Pet Therapy & Paws for Tales
Visit area senior centers with your own pet or a Naperville Area Humane Society shelter dog. Participating animals need to be well socialized, comfortable in a variety of situations, and current on vaccinations.
