Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Naperville Area Humane Society (NAHS)! NAHS relies on dedicated volunteers to help achieve its mission to promote the humane treatment of companion animals and create lasting human-animal bonds.
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteering can take a variety of forms, from spreading awareness within the community to providing your time in the shelter with the animals. NAHS volunteers give their time and talents to change the lives of hundreds of homeless animals each year and we could not do what we do without them!

In the end, we love what we do as volunteers because we understand the short term relationships we build w/the cats and dogs are bittersweet, as we help provide them the physical affection they need until they find their forever home.
