Please note that we DO NOT ACCEPT newspapers, open pet food, expired pet food, open bags of pet food, expired pet medications, retractable leashes, choke chain collars, prong collars, pillows, comforters, quilts, seat cushions, rugs, down-filled items, or used litter boxes. If you have questions about items you have to donate, please call us at 630-420-8989.

Staff is at the shelter every day beginning at 8:00 a.m. to receive donations at our service entrance.

Help local animals & the environment by recycling

Did you know you can drop off aluminum cans and other metals in the open green trailer in our parking lot? S & S Metal Recyclers collects the contents of the trailer as needed and rewards us for your efforts. Take it one step further and ask your company if you can create a sign to post at work to collect aluminum cans on behalf of the Naperville Area Humane Society.
