Hi there, I'm Ernie! I’m an intelligent, sweet, and goofy young guy with a big heart and an even bigger personality. I’m affectionate, treat-motivated, and always ready to play. I love long walks, sniffing every corner of the world, and rolling around in the grass on a sunny day—it’s pure bliss!

Power chewer toys and stuffed Kong's are some of my favorite ways to relax, and I’m a big fan of enrichment activities after a full day of fun. I already know some tricks like “sit,” “down,” and “let’s go!” But my absolute favorite thing? Hanging out and playing with my fellow canine pals! I’d likely enjoy having a playful dog sibling in my future home—if they’re up for some fun, I definitely am.

I’d be happiest in a home with adults or teens, as my goofy play style might be a bit much for the little ones. I’m looking for a patient and understanding family who can help me settle into home life with a consistent routine. If you have experience with large, energetic, high-drive dogs, that would be best!

I’m eager to keep learning and growing, so sticking to a training routine will be super important for me. I just need the right home to thrive. Oh, and did I mention? I’m also on the hunt for a comfy couch to snuggle on next to you.
