About Odie

Weight: 55 lbs

Male

Estimated Date of Birth: 5/3/2021

Hi, I’m Odie! I'm a young, energetic guy bursting with enthusiasm and a love for life. Whether it’s hiking, running, or just playing fetch in the backyard, I’m always ready for action, especially if it means spending time with you.

The staff and volunteers say I’m SUPER smart, which makes me a great candidate for obedience training or even agility courses. I thrive best with an active person or family who’s looking for a loyal companion to join in on all their adventures.

If you’re looking for a fun-loving, athletic best friend who will always keep a smile on your face, look no further - I’m your guy. Let’s make some amazing memories together!

Read the message below from my previous foster family:

"Odie was such a great dog! He could entertain himself easily without supervision. When playing with toys, he would toss them in the air and somehow find a way to the center of a toy!

He does really well with routines, bedtimes, and walking. He had no problem settling down, and he was a silent observer for the first week. He became very interested in what we were doing and where we were going. He loves food puzzles, but sometimes, he was too smart by turning them over and knowing it would spill all of his food/treats!

In the evening, he would settle in and find the perfect areas to sit on your lap or the couch and relax. He learned many tricks with us, such as “around” to spin in a circle and sit and wait for us to leave the house before receiving the “okay” command to come out of the house (for potty and walks). He is not a very vocal dog and will watch other dogs and squirrels go by without a bark."
